Our B Corp anniversary and 2024 Impact Report

In December the Kelpi team proudly celebrated the first anniversary of our B Corp certification by swapping lab coats for wellies and volunteering our services on the community forest that we planted back in 2021, just outside Bristol. Not only was it great to see how well our saplings have fared over the last 3 years, but it was the perfect opportunity to reflect on Kelpi’s first year as part of the B Corp community.

Achieving B Corp status was a major milestone on Kelpi’s journey to provide innovative, renewably sourced and biodegradable alternatives to fossil-fuel plastics: alternatives that not only match, but even in some cases exceed the performance needs of the fossil fuel plastics we replace.

Over the last year we have baked B Corp thinking into Kelpi’s DNA, embedding its principles at every level of the business from board room to team meetings. Since our certification with an impressive score of 95.0, we have set out to build on that foundation, improving our performance in all areas of the business from Governance to Workers to the Environment.  The progress we have made, and our goals for recertification in 2026, are set out in our 2024 Impact Report which can be viewed by clicking on the image below.
